My name is Beauty Ogechi Eule. I am a student of old dominion university school of nursing. It is my final semester for the baccalaureate degree in nursing. Currently, I am a registered and practicing nurse. As a nurse who work with patient at beside, my philosophy stretched beyond bedside care.  The definition of nursing by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) that states, "Nursing, as an integral part of the health care system, encompasses the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and care of the physically ill, mentally ill, and disabled people of all ages, in all health care and community settings" (ICN, para. 2), became the root and cornerstone of my personal nursing philosophy.  My goal is to become a nurse educator.  Either as precepting nurse or as patient care advocate educator.  As my understanding deepens, I realized that I can be a community health care advocate, a nurse educator, a nurse precentor, and a bedside nurse educator with the goal of reaching people of different background at their own space and time. A philosophy and goal that provides health promotion education, create awareness, and promote health and wellbeing of the people and community.
